starting today i’m gonna try damn hard to make something (ON TIME) for people’s birthday. specifically my friends and family and important people to me. and that includes my DA friends, the friends i made and had since i first made my account. the friends i worked on projects with, p-chatted with, and all that jazz. :3
so Tyler, this one’s for you. <3 it’s actually been so long since we’ve talked that i’m not even sure if you mind going by Tyler anymore. happy birthday gurl!

the sprites don’t move, your screen is fine don’t worry. so apparently there is a limit to how many photo’s you can put in one post……i did not know this. if anyone’s curious it’s 10 apparently.
anyway, holy shit these are awful. when i made these it was probably like the second or third time i ever drew John, and at that time it was when i was still struggling to get a handle on people. you can see these used in eps 1-4 of Project Homebound. from there on we’ll be using the less hideous ones i made. also rose sprites! :D
there a few things about these two pics that i’m not too pleased about and a few things that i’m rather proud of. either way, i like the end result. :)
i was mostly practicing lighting, which i like how rose’s room came out, john’s though i think i could have done a better job. harlequinsprite though was fun as hell to draw. :D

i’m taking Intro to 3D so i thought i’d share some stuff. here’s a robot dude fairly well based off of One Of These. maya is kicking my ass, but i do think i’m making progress. :D

tried a few different styles in both pages. lately allot of things have been distracting me. whether it’s school, or other projects, life, or AndAva <3 either way time has been rather short. so i’ve been trying some different things to make pages faster. unfortunately that means i have to take time in messing with it, so it ends up taking a bit more time till i decide a route to take and i get the hang of it.
till then, i’ll try uploading some sketches and other things i have planned. :D
oh also i’m in the process of making an FA so yup, there’s that too. i’ll probably link it soon.
the ability of the wings can be used in multiple ways. Ray’s way of doing things is to start off by aiming high. Literally, he probably found the highest fucking building he could get on to take his first ‘leap of faith.’ Top’s suggestion of course.

you know, growing up i’ve been told quite a few times that i should “stop drawing pokemon and draw more mature things.” usually i would reply with “can’t i draw both?” depending on the person, including my father, they would usually say “no, you should grow out of it.”
i’m 20 now, and honestly i still don’t give a fuck. Pokemon are fun as hell to draw. sorry dad. :/

it was gonna be my tumblr wallpaper, but now i’m not so sure. i have a different idea for that. either way, it’ll be an ID for my deviantart at the very least.
i saw this small foreshortening tutorial by Vesperkore. i actually tried this box technique like a year or two ago and it turned out horrible, so i was a bit hesitant in trying again. but i got into a part of D.O.R. where i thought what the hell and gave it a shot.
turned out, combined from what i learned from my perspective class, this technique works pretty well for me now. :3
